Hi  /  My name is Christopher Michael Jeter and I am a Art Director / Designer / Typoholic

Christopher is a seasoned art director with substantial experience in conceptualizing, visualizing, branding, designing, photo directing and managing innovative print materials including: collateral systems, retail environmental systems, promotional materials, brand identity and packaging. Strong conceptual thinker and strategic problem solver who’s committed to striking a balance between form and function. Adept in typography, print processes, and design with a sophisticated sense of photography and color.

Anything I touch bares my imprint. So when accused I want to be able to plead guilty to both counts. Good work & good design.

GAP INC. / SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Art Director, Senior Designer  /  Strategized, concepted, designed, and executed brand
experiences for Gap, GapBody, GapKids, BabyGap, and GapMaternity. Creative included: window displays, in-store environments, installations, print collateral and specialty spaces that supported the seasonal themes, strategic and creative objectives for all of North America. Developed branding for campaigns that partnered with diverse third party
brands such as The Whitney, DVF, GQ, Pierre Hardy, and CFDA. Partnered with visual merchandising, stylists, strategy, and production groups in implementing an integrated
and cohesive seasonal message. Concepted and directed photo shoots for seasonal campaigns. Fostered and art directed teams of designers to do great work with a unified set of goals and standards

Associate Art Director  /  Directed, conceptualized, and designed the entire creation of marketing materials such as identity systems, branding, packaging, advertising, signage, direct mail and brochures. Collaborated with business units to fulfill their strategic needs and resolve the communication challenges through holistic explorations, rigorous design processes and a business results-oriented philosophy. Managed entire project lifespan, interfaced with business partners, led presentations, orchestrated and directed photo shoots, provided direction to print vendors on press checks to insure the highest quality materials. Developed and led a team of individuals whose duties included design and production.

Directed the full creation of design materials and its integration with art, copywriting, positioning and client objectives.
